DEQ's list of issued air permits for data centers shows registration 53197-2 (Article 6 - mNSR) issued 2026-07-21 to CLOP Ashland VA LLC in Hanover County. The list gives no project size or status; the entry says nothing about whether the facility is built.

Board voted 4-3 to deny the Mountain Road Technology Park data center rezoning proposed by Tract on nearly 430 acres along Route 33; WTVR also reported a 78-acre Beaverdam data center project was due before the Planning Commission in June 2026 (WTVR).
